Comments: Pin Oak is used frequently as a street or shade tree, and the row here on College Avenue is a great example of just such an application in the landscape. The branching habitat of the pin oak follows a strong central leader with the top 1/3 of the tree arching upward, middle 1/3 horizontal with the ground and the bottom 1/3 branches arching downward.
