If we knew what it was we were
doing, it would not be called research, would it?
- - Albert EinsteinThe Tunkhannock Creek Watershed is a
413 square mile playground for scientists, conservationists, and
the community to explore nature's curiosities. An
intricate balance exists between the interactions of people and
nature, therefore; an understanding of the past and present
conditions of the Tunkhannock Creek Watershed is necessary to
plan for the future in order to minimally impact our surrounding
environment.
The following publications are a result of several projects
and research programs conducted in recent times to better
understand, and plan for, the condition of the Tunkhannock Creek
Watershed. The findings contained in the following
documents serve no good sitting on somebody's bookshelf;
consequently, they have been placed on the Atlas for the
watershed community to take part. This site is expected to
grow as more publications and reports become available.
